gnome-user-share software package provides User level public file sharing via WebDAV or ObexFTP, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-user-share
gnome-user-share is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-user-share package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-user-share *
You will get with gnome-user-share package name, version, architecture and description in a table
